First off, thank you for reading my blog.

I've been many things in my life: student, teacher, child, adult, son, father, husband, and programmer. One that I have to say that I've been nearly the longest though is Christian.

I grew up in the church, and came to know Christ early, and have never really looked back. Though over the course of the decades of my walk with Him, I've changed denominations, I've miss-stepped. I've chosen the wrong path. But through all of that, I've craved to know. To know Him. To know His word. To know all that I can. I've studied the Bible, and I've taught it. I tried once to run an Apologetics website, focused on the Salvation Army's specific theology.

But that doesn't explain the why for this site. Not really. The why is because I felt the need to both write more, and to read the Bible more. To learn more, about the verses themselves, and the history around them. So, I'm taking verses, and reading them, researching them, and then writing a small bit of what they mean to me. A small bit of my thoughts, and feelings on what they are.
